Kawarthas
Located just 90 minutes North East of Toronto, Kawartha Lakes has a variety of beautiful communities, each with its own unique charm. You can enjoy a day on our trails, an evening at the theatre, and the best locally-grown food you’ve ever tasted. If that weren’t enough, our 250 lakes and rivers offer endless opportunities for exploration.
Bancroft
Bancroft Ontario is your four-season destination. Find local information including Bancroft Lakes, tourist info, attractions, activities, and more. Central to several mid-sized cities and halfway between Toronto and Ottawa, Bancroft offers the tranquility of the Canadian Shield with all the amenities of a modern community.
Highlands
The Kawartha Highlands include wilderness and recreational areas in south-central Ontario, Canada. It is located to the north and east of the main belt of the Kawartha lakes primarily in the township of North Kawartha.
Haliburton
Known as a tourist and cottage area in Central Ontario for its scenery and for its resident artists Haliburton, a small town in Haliburton County. The lakes and rivers in the area dominate, and there is also a thriving art and cultural scene. Haliburton offers a great opportunity for a laid back living – hiking and exploring around the lakes, fishing, and enjoying all this small town has to offer.
Clarington
Clarington sits where Highway 115 meets the 401, under an hour south of Peterborough. It’s home to Bowmanville, Courtice, Newcastle and Orono, plus rural hamlets in between, with historic main streets, Lake Ontario waterfront trails and Darlington Provincial Park.
Highways 401, 407 and 418 are all close by, and construction is underway to extend GO train service to Bowmanville. That makes Clarington a popular choice for families who want room to grow with an easy commute west, or a halfway point between the GTA and the Kawarthas.
Durham Region
Stretching along Lake Ontario east of Toronto, Durham Region takes in Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, Clarington, Scugog, Uxbridge and Brock. It offers GO train service on the Lakeshore East line, Ontario Tech University, Durham College, Trent University Durham and Lakeridge Health hospitals.
Many of the families we work with are moving between Durham and Peterborough, heading north for more space or south to be closer to work and family. We’re happy to help on both ends of the move.
